At Esther Austin Global, we are deeply saddened by the loss of Angie Stone, a true icon in the world of music. Angie passed away on 1st March 2025., leaving behind a legacy that will forever influence the music industry. Therefore this is a tribute to this icon where we remember Angie Stone: A Music Legend Gone Too Soon.

I had the privilege interviewing Angie Stone on several occasions for my podcast, On the Sofa with Esther. Each time, her warmth, kindness, and wisdom shone through, making our conversations unforgettable. I also had the great honor of personally meeting her at The O2 in 2023. It was a moment I’ll always cherish, especially as I had the chance to grab a photo with her—a cherished memory of a truly special artist.
What struck me the most about Angie Stone was her humility. Despite her monumental success, she remained one of the most down-to-earth and genuine people I’ve ever encountered in the music world. Her passion for music, her generosity of spirit, her love and dedication to her fans and those wo supported her and her authentic personality left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Angie Stone’s music credits are nothing short of legendary. With chart-topping hits like "No More Rain (In This Cloud)," "I Wanna Be Your Lady," and "Wish I Didn't Miss You," she solidified herself as a powerful force in R&B and soul music.
Her work as a singer, songwriter, and producer earned her countless accolades, including multiple Grammy nominations. Angie’s distinct voice and ability to blend soulful melodies with raw emotion made her an inspiration for generations of artists and fans alike.
Angie Stone may no longer be with us, but her music, her spirit, and her impact will continue to live on.
Our hearts are with her family, friends, and fans during this difficult time. She will forever be remembered as a legend, both in music and in life.
Rest in peace, Angie Stone. Your legacy will never fade. 💔🎶
